7-Day Private tour from Marrakech to the blue city via Merzouga Sahara desert
Day 1:
Marrakech – Tizi N’tichka – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dades
You will be picked up by our private van from your accommodation hotel in Marrakech around 8am,
then drive you straight to the south side of morocco, crossing the High Atlas Mountain range via the magnificent Tichka pass (2260m) called ''Tizi N'Tichka'' considered the highest mountain pass in Morocco, or highest road point.
This pass offers a stunning view over the north version with its Berber villages due to its location and height.
Here we will stop for taking some panoramic pictures as well as several other stops on the road ahead.
We'll be then driving till we get to the Kasbah (Berber Fortress) of Ait Ben Haddou, the most preserved Berber citadel in the south of the country, here we will stop for lunch and then a visit of the Kasbah right afterwards. The Kasbah is a UNESCO world heritage site since 1987, and in which many famous American movies had been shot.
After your visit and lunch at the Kasbah Then drive to Ouarzazate the city which is about few kilometers only from the Kasbah, the city nicknamed Morocco's Hollywood, and Ouarzazate means (without noise) in the Berber language.
An optional visit of your choice may be at a cinema studio there or the famous Kasbah of Taourirt which is kind of a maze from the inside, which makes it so easy to get lost in it without a guide.
In this city many popular movies were shot, like the Gladiator, Star wars, game of thrones, Mummy 1 & 2, Kingdom of heaven and a lot more, then drive directly to Dads valley passing by the city of roses to perhaps purchase the rosewater or other cosmetic roses products in case of interest, then getting you to your hotel in Boumalne dades for the overnight and dinner.

Day 2:
Boumalne dades – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Rissani – Merzouga
Next day and once after you enjoyed your breakfast we leave the city of Boumalne and head for Merzouga city but before that we will be taking a drive across the valley of Dades until we reach beautiful views of the bizarre rock formation called "The monkey feet" we stop there to take pictures then we drive back heading to the city of Tinghir, also nicknamed the city of a 1000 Kasbah due to the countless Kasbahs there that most of them are now nothing but ruins.
We’ll be making few stops to enjoy the panoramic views of the old Tinghirs Kasbahs and valleys, then a short drive from there to the Moroccan famous canyons of Todra Gorges for a nice walk, they
have an altitude of 300m, and if you are lucky you will meet some mountain climbers there, doing what’s called the mountaineering.
After a long walk in the Todra Gorges, an optional lunch is scheduled here before we continue our way passing by the small town of Alnif, Rissani and getting to our final destination city with its breathtaking sandy dunes Merzouga.
Remember that you can still enjoy an activity like Sand-board, ATV or Buggy in the heart of the dunes if you wish, before you ride your camels to your camp, enjoying later an amazing sunset time by your camp.

Day 3:
Merzouga – Erfoud – Midelt – Ifran – Fes
This third day you will be woke up quite early in the morning to enjoy a beautiful sunrise, you can then have your breakfast at the camp then on camels again back the same place where your van left you the previous day.
It’s going to be a very long drive this day to the imperial city of Fes, We then leave Merzouga passing by Erfoud to start admiring its palm oasis, which is located in the Ziz valley, it is Morocco’s largest so far, making of course a stop at a high altitude to take amazing pictures.
Before Leaving Erfoud and only if interested, you may stop at a mineral fossils exposition and fabrication workshops where you’ll be able to see how those mineral fossils are made.
As for these fossils, scientists said that during the Paleozoic era - about 540 million to 250 million years ago - the southeast of Morocco lay under the sea, this is why the fossils are basically extinct sea creatures in the first place.
We continue our way passing by Errachidia until we get to Midelt, a city known for the minerals and apples in the first places, an optional lunch is scheduled there before continuing our way to Ifran, the Moroccan city nicknamed ‘’Morocco’s Switzerland’’ for a break there to get a drink and a quick walk,
Then drive to Fes for diner and overnight.

Day 4:
Fes (Full-day guided city tour)
A full-day dedicated for the visit of the best spots of this incredible imperial city of Morocco,
after breakfast at your Riad, your driver and local guide, will both be taking you in a long journey exploring the world’s largest Medina that dates back to the 9th century walking through its alleys and small streets with one of the best guides in fez. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate; the Jewish headquarter named "Mellah" built in the 16th century.
Then from There we will head to the ‘’Borj du Sud’’ the Southern Fort is a late 16th century construction, where you have a full view of the city of Fes from a high altitude.
We head back to the Medina again, where you will visit many artisans’ quarters, such as the brass, copper and wedding adornment souks. The carpenters, bakers & butchers also have their area of the medina that they call home.
A highlight is a visit to the famous Fes tannery, where you have great views from a panoramic viewpoint over the men hard at work treating and dying the different hides. We’ll also get to see its religious and historical heart when you visit Moulay Idriss II’s Mausoleum (the founder of Fes), the 9th century Al Karaouine University and one of the many Medrasas (Koranic school).
The al-Qarawiyyin mosque, a religious school / college was founded by Fatima al-Fihri in 859 with an associated school, or madrasa, which subsequently became one of the leading spiritual and educational centers of the historic Muslim world. It was incorporated into Morocco’s modern state university system in 1963. Drive back to your Riad for dinner and overnight.

Day 5:
Fes – Ouazzane – Chefchaouen
After breakfast in your Riad in Fes we will head toward Chefchaouen (Bleu city) around 9am, which is a Morocco popular tourist attraction and welcoming town situated in the Rif Mountains just south of the Mediterranean coastline in northwest Morocco.
This breathtaking bleu city is known for its traditional buildings, a visit here is simply about wandering the medina alleys and lapping up all that colorful architecture. It's a peaceful, easygoing town and a great place to recharge for a while if you've been spending a lot of time amid the cities of Fes and Marrakesh beforehand.
Enjoy your short Medina touring with your local guide, and explore the countless white and blue washed walls of the medina and the markets that offer some unique native handicrafts.
Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains.

Day 6:
Chefchaouen – Ouazzane – Casablanca
Enjoy your free morning in the blue town before we drive to Casablanca on a national road first and then a faster highway for an approximately 5-hour drive in total, leaving Chefchaouen around midday for your last overnight in Morocco busiest city, driving across Many buildings in Art Nouveau and Art Deco designed by architects such as Marius Boyer dating back to the 1930s.
Getting finally to your destination with a possible drive back and forth to a restaurant of your choice.

Day 7:
Casablanca – Marrakech
Today we are at the economical and Morocco's largest city, we will take you straight to the impressive Hassan 2 Mosque for a free visit from the outside and a payable guided visit from the inside.
Hassan II mosque, Considered as the best spot in the city, designed by the French architect Michel Pinseau. The mosque is located on a peninsula overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
It can be seen as a gigantic building where classical and modern styles are perfectly integrated. With room for 25,000 worshippers and its minaret of 210 meters, this is the second largest mosque in the world and the one with the world’s tallest minaret, and by the way it is the only Moroccan mosque where tourists can have a guided visit from the inside.
Possible drive to the Morocco Mall in case of interest right before you drive back to Marrakech on a fast highway for an approximately 3-hour drive to your chosen accommodation.
