Private trip to the high Atlas mountains and Berber villages: All inclusive

Depart in the morning at 9:00am from Marrakech to the direction of the high Atlas Mountains. The Ourika valley is located about 68 km from the southeast of Marrakech. It’s a beautiful place to enjoy your day trip, the freshness of the Ourika River with a number of little waterfalls and to admire the little quiet typical Berbers villages which are built against the red mountains.

At an altitude of 1700 meters from where different trails start to the famous waterfalls, down into the valley, lay gardens and cultivated land which are shaded by numerous fruit trees. You will have the first stop for pictures at the mountains by a beautiful panorama landscape, Then we will take you to visit an Eco-Berber museum, getting there after having a little walk across a Berber village, as well as a visit to a local Berber house where tourists are welcomed every day. Then we drive you after that straight to the Setti-Fatma village for your hike to the waterfalls.

Bear in mind that on the road to the Valley, there are several Argan oil women cooperatives as well as Berber rugs cooperatives too if you are interested to see how they are both made, it's a choice of yours, just let your driver know. The climb to the first waterfall is fairly straightforward and at that point, you have already a fascinating view over the Ourika Valley and the mountains of Yagour your local guide will provide help while taking you there, you only need to make sure you are prepared for some good hiking.

This Day trip from the red city (Marrakech) will give you the opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city of Marrakech and bring you closer to nature. When you come back from the small forest, you will have lunch in one of the nice local restaurants by the Ourika river. After lunch and enjoying your time by the Ourika river, we will drive you back to your accommodation in Marrakech.

A camel ride is also scheduled on the way back to Marrakech, but which could also be done on the way to the valley if you are interested.
